In just over a year, Wayside has gone from zero AI integration to implementation in approximately 75% of classrooms, with even broader adoption already underway. But this work is not about technology for technology’s sake. It is about ensuring every student, especially those who will be the first in their families to go to college, can fully access and master grade-level content.

Wayside leverages innovative instructional practices, including AI-powered applications and personalized learning tools, to make complex academic content more understandable without lowering expectations.

Teachers are now able to design lessons that:

• Provide immediate, actionable feedback

This approach allows us to remove barriers to understanding while maintaining high standards. Students are not just participating in learning. They are mastering it.

The impact of this work is already visible. Students are more engaged because instruction is clearer and more responsive. Teachers are better equipped to ensure that every student, regardless of starting point, can access rigorous content. By February 2026, AI tools were active in approximately 90% of classrooms, reflecting both strong educator buy-in and the effectiveness of these tools in supporting student learning.
